I had a fantastic stay at these apartments. The location was perfect, situated on a quiet road but very close to the city center. It was just a one-minute walk to the main shopping street and great restaurants. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable too. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay great, providing me with a cell phone to stay in touch and make local reservations. The breakfast provided was plenty and had a variety of options to choose from.
Nothing, it is perfect.

The location was mind-blowing, just a 5-minute walk to everywhere! The facilities were super, with a clean kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV. Lis, the manager, was jaw-droppingly helpful and warm-hearted. She accommodated our requests and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you, Lis!

Responsive owner and manager provided excellent local advice. Spacious 2-bedroom apartment, great location near everything but quiet. Lovely view of city and water. Staff helpful, understanding, and moved us to a more comfortable apartment. Clean and comfortable with nearby grocery. Centrally located to attractions.

We had a great Easter experience at this apartment in Reykjavik. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and convenient. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had a smooth check-in process.
There were a few issues that slightly affected our experience. there was a minor issue with a leaking ceiling in one of the bedrooms, which seemed to be caused by upstairs showering, but luckily it didn't affect the beds.

The ease of getting and returning the keys, along with the early check-in option, made our stay hassle-free. the property being on the ground level saved us from lugging our luggage up and down. the surprise addition of a Dolce Gusto machine and capsules was great, even though we don't drink coffee.
Felt like home, no complaints.

Friendly and helpful owner who provided a local mobile phone and arranged laundry for free. Great location, just a short walk to the supermarket and city centre.- Comfy beds and spacious rooms that allowed for a good night's sleep.
Drafty windows in the main bedroom and lounge that required extra blankets even with heating on. Only one towel provided per person, which may not be sufficient for those who prefer larger towels or separate towels for hair.

The apartments at Ambassade are bright and modern, making me feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen was a major plus for me, as I love cooking my own meals when I travel. Having a private balcony or patio in the rooms was a lovely touch, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The free parking and Wi-Fi were incredibly convenient, allowing me to stay connected and explore without any worries. The bathrooms were equipped with shower or bathtub and provided free toiletries, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the limited number of guestrooms available. However, I understand that this might not be an issue for others.

Amazing location and comfortable apartment. The huge fridge and well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The lounge area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing, and the large TV had a great selection of movies and music. The owners, Olafur and Lis, were incredibly welcoming and helpful with suggestions for tours and restaurants. We even got bathrobes and slippers for the hot tub! I highly recommend staying at Ambassade Apartments.

I stayed at Ambassade Apartments for 5 nights and it was perfect for my needs. The well-equipped kitchen, including a coffee machine and toaster, helped me save money on food and drinks. The location, just a couple of blocks from the main street, meant I could easily access everything I needed without being disturbed by late-night noise. The helpful host went above and beyond, even arranging delivery of my lost baggage and lending me a jacket. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable and convenient home away from home.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
